Conference : The silence of fascia

This little-known but essential organ is attracting growing interest among medical researchers. Fascia alone forms a sensory organ: visible on ultrasound, reactive to acupuncture and manual pressure, and weakened by stress or lack of physical activity, they could be an unknown cause of many pathologies, particularly back pain, whether chronic or not.

Recent studies show that they influence posture, flexibility, and stress management. A well-hydrated and moving fascia reduces tension and pain. It also produces collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid. These substances slow down aging and promote cellular regeneration.

Fascia also play a key role in cellular communication and the transmission of nerve signals. They contribute to the proper functioning of the autonomic nervous system. They influence stress and recovery.

What do our fasciae reveal to us?
