This workshop offers an immersion into the world of silences transmitted within family lines, through an approach that is at once archetypal, transgenerational, and creative. It is aimed at anyone—practitioner or curious—who wishes to explore the absent words, the silenced emotions, and the muted loyalties that circulate in their history.

At the heart of this workshop, we will use the therapeutic game L’Arbre Soleil, a symbolic tool that we designed to facilitate the work of highlighting family memories through metaphorical language, memories, imagination, and the gaps in transmission. This game will serve as a support for exploration, intuition, and the creation of links between lived experience, archetypes, and family history.

Guided by a centering (guided waking dream technique), each participant will explore the places of silence in their inner landscape. We will then call upon three archetypal figures of silence to analyze, feel, and symbolize what family silences have preserved, frozen, or transmitted in spite of themselves.

By cautiously exploring the backstage of the family myth through the game’s activities, participants will identify the gray areas, knots, omissions, and repeated patterns within their lineage. Thanks to The Sun Tree, each participant will be able to materialize, name, understand, and transform a facet of the silence(s) they have contacted.

The workshop will end with an opening towards the future of silence (e.g.: symbolic act of transformation, avenues of questioning, etc.) in a creative form, so that everyone leaves with a living personal trace of this inner work: a form of symbolization which celebrates the passage from silence undergone to conscious and fruitful silence.
