From discovering your family history using the psychogenealogical technique.
To understanding the workings of the family unconscious through transgenerational analysis.

The first International Psychogenealogy Symposium was initiated by Monica Justino in Brazil in 2023.
Noëlle Lamy and Dominique Mathey took up the challenge in 2024 and organised in Lyon the second edition of what seems to be becoming a regular occurrence.
In 2024, Bruno Clavier, Jean Philippe Brebion, Pierre Ramaut, Barbara Mourin, Monica Justino, Marie Noëlle Maston, Danielle Flaumembaum, Noëlle Lamy, Paola Del Castillo, Elisabeth Horowitz, Eduard and Judith van Den Borgaert, Anaïs Aliagas, Quentin Favier . . . . met at the Espace Ouest Lyonnais on the theme of childhood, exchanging and presenting their practices to over 300 participants.
In March 2025, back in Brazil, we worked on the words of love, or of lovelessness in words and music, sharing Brazilian and French speakers.
2026, we’re expecting many of you, and we’ll be delighted to welcome Boris Cyrulnick, Serge Tisseron, Stephan Schillinger, and other talented speakers, in addition to our usual headliners…
Our founding values
“The past has time; it waits patiently at the crossroads of the future” Mohamed Mbougar Sarr
What began as a project to ’understand and disseminate the unconscious dimension of our lives shared with our ancestors” has enabled us, therapists, partners, speakers and authors, to come together around the founding values of commitment, respect, dissemination, communication, transmission and research.
The desire to move society forward and provide lasting, structuring solutions is a powerful driving force that mobilizes us and sets us in motion. Acting in the general interest means taking up and adapting to the changes of our times. It also means developing projects to compare our views and support change.
Offering today’s men and women the opportunity to understand their origins and to proudly bear witness to their uniqueness and singularity, so that more and more peace can be found in our family histories and in the hearts of all.
